While I am waiting for my FOID card to show up in the mail, I decided to get something else in the mean time. It's a Smith and Wesson so I figured it had some place in the gun thread.

I also needed a legitimate knife for hunting in the future and decided to go with this bad boy. Fun fact, I am going to learn to effectively throw each one. Huh, they stopped being deemed as military issue for being too 'brutal'. Sounds like my kind of knife

dawg, dont throw knives, its not good for them. plus, in practice, its bloody hard to gauge how to adjust for distance, and, well, if you miss, you are out your knife.
seems a solid knife, though, gerber makes some really good ones. sog does as well, solid tactical knives, even if a bit expensive.
