i remember where i was when i watched that

few things:
-vick was coached not to/got scared to run and this meant teams didnt have to worry about him scrambling at any given time
-the O-Line is decimated by injuries...future hall of famer Justin Peters didnt play a snap all season with a torn, then retorn achilles, future pro-bowler 2nd-year center was hurt like week 4, now on IR, and todd herrimans, solid tackle and fill-in guard got hurt week 9 and put on IR
-the wide 9 SUCKS
-andy reid needs to catch up to the rest of the league (after he's fired)

It's so the teams that didn't make the playoffs can't make any player moves. Don't consider the consolation bracket the playoffs. It's more or less a pity fuck so you can still play something.

I posted in the commissioners note on Monday that it would take effect on Thursday. It will not be changed back.

It would be one thing to post the no-pick/drop rules without running a keeper league, but with running the keeper league, it prevents a lot of opportunities for the next year. For instance, Dez Bryant is on IR (https://twitter.com/richiewhitt/statuse ... 2863907841), so if Mac drops him it would be advisable for someone who doesn't really have any interest in the season this year to pick him up off W/FA and hold him till next year, same for Gronk, same for Sanu (bengals).

While I don't agree with this style of management based on this, it really is the only avaliable option at this point in time, which is sad. I would recommend a 3 day pick up/trade after all playoffs are over. For instance, if I want to trade for someone's 4th round draft pick or free agency pick-up with my 4th round/FA pick up then I should be able to. Just sayin'

If you wanted to play that way then all of the players would have to follow the waiver rules at the end of the season, if were being fair. Since we cant implement waiver rules to all free agents at any one given point, I like my way better.

I saw Foxx pick up the best free agent RB in the league when in all reality he has nothing to play for anymore. There are other teams still trying for a championship that are looking at me and saying how could you let this guy grab the only real RB on the market when he isn't even the playoffs? (No the chump bracket in NOT the playoffs) At this point, the teams that are in the final four places in the league don't deserve the continue playing. They only continue because I throw a bone out there and give them something when they have nothing.

Out of respect for the teams with something to play for I personally don't feel it appropriate for the scrubs to be adjusting their rosters for next year.

It's all strategy. The point is to keep talented players on your team so others can't benefit. C'mon man...

Mac broke the point record this week. Haven't seen that high of a score in the 4 years I've been playing!

I know he currently has 3 players still going, but congrats Sonic on your 3rd consecutive trip to the finals and your second Championship title in our fantasy league. It definitely was the scariest drafted team on paper this year.

I think I'll have Peyton as a keeper as well. That's cool.

Also, *bow*.

Well fought gentlemen.
