Fantasy Football Poll

This is a simple "yes, no" poll. If you answer is yes, please discuss.

I think YES but I don't think it should be cut in half or anything extreme. I know Payton manning had a blowout season and there's really no way to grade on a curve with fantasy, but I do think that it should be lessened.

this league, who's scoring i like best for the most part, already has lower scoring QBs than standard leagues. QB is the single most important position of any player in any sport, there's only 1 starter per team, and its points should bear that out. megatron had a 40 point game this year, didnt he? foster's had multiple 35+ pt games the last 3 years. QBs are the top scorers in every league I've ever played in. not sure where this is coming from.

The NFL has and is still changing in a way that's allowing for QB's to score more fantasy points . It looks to me that the fantasy team with the best quaterback is almost guaranteed to win this league.

Yahoo fantasy football default scoring:

Offensive statistics and scoring points
Every 25 passing yards: 1 point
Each passing TD: 4 points
Each interception thrown: -1 points
Every 10 rushing yards: 1 point
Each rushing TD: 6 points
Every 10 receiving yards: 1 point
Each receiving TD: 6 points
Each return TD: 6 points
Each Off Fum Ret TD: 6 points
Each 2-point conversion: 2 points
Each fumble lost: -2 points

It just seems so easy for a QB to consistently score an outrageous amount of points in this league. Yahoo default for a passing touchdown is 4 points but you score more points for yardage gained. In our league, I say leave the bonus system intact for yardage gained, nerf the points scored per passing touchdown by making it 4 and leave everything else the same. Your quaterback will still score you more points then anyone else on your team but not by as great a margin and the free agent market for a QB will be slightly improved by the balancing of talent.

I have no problems with how it is. 1 or 2 QBs shouldn't influence a change in scoring.

i dont mind it either. Put more emphasis on a QB in the draft if you think they're so much better.
