Let me summarize this so it's easier to discuss...
Everyone is mostly in agreement with the following items (50% or over, with no ties or conflicts), thus they will be effective next season...
Administrative:Draft Day = Wednesday before the season starts (no change)
Trade Deadline = current default setting of week 10 (no change)
Trade Processing Time = 2 days (
change)
Consolation Winner gets 1st Draft Pick = Yes (
change)
Remove Roster Lock for Consolation Bracket = Yes, with the stipulation that waiver priorities will be manually edited so that championship teams have first pick over consolation teams. (
change)
Happy with Sunday - Tuesday Waiver System = Yes (no change) - Fun fact: everyone was in 100% agreement on this!
Is The IR Slot Useful? = Yes (no change,
except allowing direct IR slot adds next season)
Scoring:Penalize QBs for Pick Sixes Thrown = No (no change)
Points for 1st Downs = No (no change)
Lastly, 75% of people had a good time this season.
If the item wasn't in the summary list, it will be discussed and re-voted upon as necessary. These items include:- Draft Pick Trading
- Flex Slot - We need to choose between the two options that got 37.5%.
- Punishment for starting inactives/empty slots for multiple weeks
- Yard Bonuses - The issue here is a consensus. For example, people that voted for "Keep current bonuses" added in other bonuses and scoring comments.
- Consolation winner draft pick - Now that this is official, does it go into effect immediately? i.e. Tools won consolation, does he get 1st pick in 2017?
Let's begin discussion on these 5 action items and see what we can come up with.My Notes:
Scoring. A required, B and C optional
A) 20yd/1pt or 10yd/1pt B) no bonuses, current yardage bonus, 40+ bonus C) no 1st down points or yes 1st down points
