Seemed relevant, although they list the Evo as #1.

To me it seems that the Evo is amazing until it comes apart.

for the android users out there...i switched from EasyTether to PDANet for tethering. it's a more reliable app and also forwards txt messages to the computer when tethered and pulls the phone's address book so you can respond and create new txts from scratch without memorizing phone #s. excellent app. i use the free version and havent had any probs. i think it's supposed to block secure http sites but i havent had any problems logging in to my online school's site which is obviously https. VZW's connection is solid. between 1-1.5 mbps at home and around 1-1.25 here without any noticeable dropouts on my netbook from inside the house. i can stream 360p youtube videos without delay and the screen is so small on this Mini 9 that anything above 480p is a waste anyway.

free tethering FTW. id be fucking lost without it right now since i have homework due all week and they dont have internet service...

Related to this thread so yeah. I'm thinking about upgrading my G2 to the G2x. Mine is starting to have issues with data connectivity and calls randomly won't go through.

Anyone know if I can trade my current G2 in and get some money for it? I just bought this back in October.
