Random Music Thread

Postby Darkfoxx » Thu Oct 30, 2008 3:33 pm

I had the idea to do this for a long time, so here we go.

Instead of just asking what everyone listens to, I thought it would be cooler just to compile a massive thread of music in order to share our musical tastes and also give others the opportunity to listen to new and old songs, in order to turn them on to more music.

So what do you post? Whatever you listen to...

In what format do I post? You can post Youtube vids of music videos or just videos that play the song. You can also post links to the song at other music sharing websites (last.fm, imeem.com, rhapsody, etc...)

How many songs are allowed in each post? Just one.

Post one song and wait until someone else posts after you, then you can post again. There should always be someone else's post separating yours.

If no one posts a new song after yours in a day, then you can post another.

I'm sure you guys can handle these simple instructions...

Anyways, I'll start us off.

The Village Green - Let It Go
http://www.rhapsody.com/goto?rcid=tra.13938968

If anyone's ever heard of them, I'll be surprised.

That's pretty cool Tanis....meeting someone like that in person.

My next song is going back in time to 1969. This is undoubtedly one of my favorite artists of all time. I simply love his method of guitar playing.

Yeah that's another one of my favorites there, Chips.

Speaking of RHCP.....

RHCP - I Could of Lied

Off one of the greatest albums...ever. I'm trying to learn this song on the guitar. Perhaps I'll record it when I get good enough.
