Ampeg: Dan Armstrong Series

I just think this is pretty fuckin' badass. I'd love to sell my guitar and get this but it's a bit pricey at $1,500.

ahhh...

holy shit man. that is a BEAUTIFUL guitar.
maybe lacking the technical whatnots, having one pickup would make me angry, but jesus man. if that guitar were a woman, i might have to have sex with it.

sorry bout the mess on this thread by the way. but damn... what a hot guitar.

yeah. both guitar and bass. (various other instruments as, well... but those or more orchestral type...)

ive currently got an ibanez bass and guitar (im an ibanez sort of dude...)
the bass i have: (an earlier model of this bass)
http://www.guitarcenter.com/Ibanez-SRX5 ... 1425384.gc

the guitar i have:
http://www.guitarcenter.com/Ibanez-RG5E ... 1167870.gc

ive played bass longer, but the guitar is my current focus. the ibanez has a flat neck, 24 frets, a tremolo package (love it) with floyd rose clamps, a humbucker combo neck, single mid, and another humbucker bridge. (thats the only thing that i would miss about the other guitar, only having one pickup at a time...)

if you want to see an awesome guitar, both the limited edition and the original, check this out. this is, however, a 3-4 grand guitar. on sale.

I play drum!
What's necessary in a fight isn't fear.
Nothing can be born from that.
If you dodge, "I won't let them cut me".
If you protect someone, "I won't let them die".
If you attack, "I'll cut them".

I've always liked the Ibanez guitars...seem to have a certain funky style to them.

I currently have a bunch of shit...well, at least the guitar. I've got a Cort Strat that really is as cheap as it gets. I got it about 9 years ago as a Christmas present. My amp is a Peavey Rage 158 and I've got a Boss effects pedal to get me some much needed distortion.

I'm probably going to sell the guitar on eBay and buy an Epiphone SG Special. I've heard nothing but good things about it, and it's only around $180.

In black, of course. Or maybe a cheaper Ibanez, 'cause I can't afford anything too good.

And if I'm really feeling like spending money...

When I played in My rock band, the guitarist and bassist had stacks. The sound that came out of those were amazing! Of course you don't need something that big for personal use, but they had to keep up with my drums.

Thanks to brick's drumming video thread I have lost an hour of studying...

yeah im a big fan of ibanez. their more laid back stuff is nice and bluesy, and then they jump to the complete opposite, like my guitar, which, due to the flat neck and ridikerous number of pickups, can shred like nobodies business. beauty.

nice, though, im diggin the boss stomper. that was actually one of the pedals that i was thinking about getting but didnt have the money for. the other one was a tad bit more expensive... (only a few hundred...)

also, as for the guitar, that is an excellent choice. gives you that old 80s rock feel. ACDC is a guitar. a friend of mine has that one. i dont know if it was that guitar, but i thought that it was hard to sit with... if you are looking for a 60/70 or modern sound (oxymoron?) this is an excellent guitar. plays older stuff (beatles, ish, pink floyd, etc) and some 80s stuff, and metal excellently. i know someone that has this one as well, and he loves it.

this one is the same, just slightly higher quality, better tone, and, of course, more expensive (50 bucks...)
http://www.guitarcenter.com/Ibanez-GRG1 ... 1147802.gc

interesting that you would mention that amp as well... haha... thats the one i have. vox amps all the way. tubes. beautiful. loud as hell. great tone. and built in tone changer, though i dont use that so much, and since you have a stomp, you probably wont need anything but the blues/older rock settings. still an excellent amp, and you CANT KILL IT. its bloody indestructible i swear. the only thing more so is crate, but thats shit sound.

Thanks for the recommendations, I appreciate it.

You should be a salesman for Ibanez because I think I'm sold. :D
