Figured I'd make a thread on this if anyone is interested. Gonna post my progress...

Ask questions, etc.

How the house looked when I bought it (for reference):

First things first, I needed tool storage. Built this 14'x8' shed in the back yard. Scott put some sweat into this bad boy as well.

Built from scratch w/ no plans at all. Structurally code compliant, weatherproof, and all that good stuff.

The door is on (no pic), I just need to finish the siding and soffits. I plan to do that this weekend w/ Scott.

Rear patio demo (in preparation for the addition foundation). My dad and I knocked this out this past weekend. Got to rent a 65lb jackhammer for the first time in my life...pretty fuckin' cool!

A fun note: There were actually two layers of concrete slab. The patio had settled a lot since 1948 so it looked like they poured another slab over the original patio at some point. We're talking like 8-12" of concrete. Look at the unpainted section of the foundation...

Nearly done. Got 95% of the siding and finish work done. Just have some little niggly bits of siding to finish up, then caulk/paint. Started organizing the interior this weekend as well.

Soffit finished w/ vents:

I'll get some interior shots once I run electrical out there. Gonna have a 30A subpanel in there, which will have two circuits - one 15A lighting and generic outlet circuit, and one 20A circuit for high-draw tools like my table saw and air compressor.

Bonus pic of the subpanel I installed in the shed. 30A 240v feed that is split to a 15A lighting circuit and 20A outlet circuit.

Sweet subpanel bro, but wheres the circuit for your shed sound system?
