i agree with foxx.
and as for the schools being given to much money? thats a load of crap. both of my parents are teachers and i know first hand what its like to be in a school system without spendable money. the battle creek public schools are still running 8 year old computer labs, where there are no graphics cards, and my processor could outperform 6 of them. my parents, both of them working, dont make 100 grand a year, and are making much less, because of inflation, than they did 5 years ago. teachers are some of the lowest payed people in the country, and their funding needs to be cut? most schools dont have enough money to keep their technology anything less than 6 years old, and we are taking away money from them?
and this isnt just the bcps... this is almost any school district you goto.
so what do i say to that? i say cutting funding to schools is a load of bullshit, and anything that obama does to help the school systems will have my immediate and unquestioned support. so before you get on your high horse about the schools being "over funded", pay attention to whats really going on in most districts.

yeah, its not like that most places. 15 grand is... a large amount of money when it comes down to it. and bushs "no child left behind" idea was bullshit.
and when it comes to giving more money, it really depends. when schools are using 15 year old textbooks in the sciences? yeah. thats pretty terrible. but having, say, 2-4 year old books? im pretty sure kids will learn better under those conditions. keeping things up to date is crucial.
