TF2 Help

Postby of_crazed » Sun Jul 20, 2008 3:19 pm

Hey, my internet is working and all but it won't let me connect to any TF2 servers. This started to happen after I got my new modem and such. Is there any advice of things to check from you guys?

Thanks.

I think what is happening is TF2 is disconnecting my computer from the internet or something. When I am on steam everything is fine. I load up TF2 fine, I can generate the main server list and refresh it, I can not get my favorites or friends games.

When I click on a server, It doesn't generate the list of players or anything that would normally happen just when I click on any serve it says something like "Can not find server" or whatever the default is when you can't connect to a server.

I dont know really what else to say

check your firewall
Sounds like it it blocking your queries to the outside world.
Check valves support page to find the correct ports to open up if this is the case.
