i wish it luck seeing as a windows 7 tablet has already been reviewed by wired and it has failed

see: http://www.wired.com/gadgetlab/2010/03/ ... -slate-pc/

maybe if it has a modified version of windows 7 then it might do well

i will stand by my word, any tablet that is running a desktop/laptop native os and tries to get people to use their fingers is going to fail. running windows 7 on something like that is asking for a problem, everything is to small. modern os' require the accuracy of a pointer.
also, hardware is a problem. i see alot of these slates coming with 1gb of ram. running windows 7? not a chance.

edit: the size thing is actually my biggest complaint with both smartphones/iphones etc. the screens are to damn small, and so is everything on them.

on a quick tangent: i thought this was ridiculous.

razer put out the first left handed gaming mouse, the deathadder mirrored. kudos to them, i might actually try it out, being ambidextrous and all.
but wired talks about the name as if its something new... deathadder has been around for years... they dont do much razer stuff eh? weird with razer being one of the biggest sellers of gaming hardware pretty much ever.

I am left-handed, but when I used the mouse in computer class in 2nd they made me do it right handed.
Now the only things i do right handed is control a mouse, fish, and drum.

except it's a non-name startup MFG that no one's heard of before. wait until a real company makes one...like the HP i posted that had actual modified W7 settings

also it's easy as fuck to increase the size of toolbars and scrollbars...takes 30 seconds and W7 supports multi-touch anyway so who cares about scrollbars and shit. W7 supports touch by default. ive used it on a netbook with a touchscreen and it works very well. i didnt even want the touchscreen but it worked so well that i use it all the time now.
