This is the anime it comes from.

Just for a little background,

The show is called Fooly Cooly or FLCL for short.

It's about a boy named Nouta who encounters an alien girl named Haruhara Haruko. She awakens a sleeping portal in his forehead with the hopes that the portal will lead her to what she is looking for. That is, The Pirate king, Atomsk. In this battle, Nouta is possessed by the spirit of Atomsk and rids the earth of the Medical mechanica (an organization trying to eliminate human thought).

It's really an outstanding series, a 10/10 at least.

It's only six episodes long (despite the 26 episode budget it took to make it), so don't say you don't have time to check it out.

I didn't notice so much flashing....

But I suppose I've been desensitized to bright flashes by watching so much Dragonball Z :shock:

But that's really the only episode that's like that cause it's the climax of the entire series, check out the 5 others.
