A Pontiac Solstice GXP. theyre around 15-17k. thoughts?
it got absolutely great reviews for the few years it was out, and many, many people were disapointed when GM decided not to port it to another brand when they shuttered Pontiac, as they did with a few models.
BTW, i still dont know why they did that to pontiac. i know GM had to restructure and change many significant practices during their government-forced restructuring (another topic entirely), but why'd they close pontiac and hummer? those 2 brands always seemed to me to be some of the more successful ones under the GM umbrella. I mean they have 1 brand without a single unique vehicle (GMC) making completely identical vehicles as another (chevy), yet pontiac and hummer had some very unique vehicles that often didnt have direct competitors, and IMO were better than their competitors anyway. it's not like they were redundant models, like a GMC sierra vs chevy 1500 or something. And hummer i understand even less...there are sooo many hummers driving around my hometown and nothing else competes with them. they are a class of vehicle all their own, and they seemed to sell well considering their $50-70k price tags.
