Ok, I'm gonna bite the bullet and upgrade my 8 year old dell keyboard. Shoot me your suggestions here.
As of now I am looking into the G15 as i don't wanna spend more than $100. Tell me what you think.

But seriously, it's pretty difficult to wrong with a keyboard. The G15 is definitely a solid keyboard

i love mechanical keyboards if you dont mind them being really loud and high price for a quality one. with backlit keys, the quality mechanical boards are >$100 so i'd so stick with the G15. its a great board for the price. there's also the G11 that is the G15 without the LCD

Re: Keyboards
imo, a good keyboard is nowhere near as necessary as a good mouse.
i buy keyboards based on the feel of the board, never whether its ridiculously awesome. keyboards stats and such have never been important to me, ive never gotten myself into a situation where stock keyboards dont do the job. mice, however, is a different story.
however, if you are looking to buy a 'high quality' keyboard, i will continue to stand behind razer gear. i own a razer mouse which ive never found anything better, a razer gaming pad, and a razer headset.

those two keyboards are excellent boards, ive used both, those i have neither.

Re: Keyboards
I'm getting the Lycosa Mirrored Edition only because it is 18.5" across.
After Measuring the desk the G11 and G15 are a bit too wide for me coming in at 20.5" and 22.5".
I was pretty set on getting the g15 as it has better reviews or the g11 because it has better reviews as well.
A friend from school just got the lycosa and loves it. Thanks for the help.

Re: Keyboards
thats really weird, eskie, ive had razer gear now for quit some time and ive never had any problem with any of it.
mouse has worked great now, no complaints, not even anything i would change. gamepad is great, nothing has gone wrong with that either. headset is brilliant, best headset ive ever put on. friend of mine has a keyboard, i dont remember which one, and praises that hes never had a problem with it either.

Re: Keyboards
I didn't really want it, but I just checked my email and the lycosa shipped today.
I don't remember ordering it at all lol. Can I blame it on drugs?
